Research Process

An initial meeting or telephone briefing is arranged to ascertain the requirements of the client.  Time and cost budgets are set in advance and are not exceeded without written authority from the client. 

All details are confirmed in writing before any assignment is undertaken.

A target list is compiled of potential companies, i.e. direct competitors, associated business sectors, by product or geographically.  This is then agreed by the client before identification commences.

Potential candidates are then identified within the target list of companies and a "who is where" list is created and reviewed with the client.

The potential candidates selected from this list are then contacted to establish their level of interest and initial suitability for the position, (client identity can be protected at this stage if preferred).  CV details of candidates who express an interest are presented to the client along with feedback on the reasons potentially suitable candidates were not interested.  This information provides clients with the market realities and the ability to tailor their specification and reward structures accordingly.  This information is then sent to the client for follow-up action.

Update reports are submitted at agreed intervals.

Throughout the project a close dialogue is maintained to ensure quality and accuracy.
